Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers are both strong midfield buys for GW10 despite Chelsea's difficult spell.

The creator directly calls both players amazing options to buy after they scored in the previous match.

FPL Focal · FPL PLAYERS TO BUY | GW10 ✅ · Nov 2, 2026

Palmer and Rogers both scored last match vs Man Utd and they're both amazing options to buy this week.

Original source ↗ · Play from 6:01 · 5 seconds before evidence ↗

Value marketSellShort

The creator views Cole Palmer as overpriced and is willing to sell him when funds are needed, although selling him specifically for Gameweek 10 is unattractive because Chelsea face Sunderland away.

He says Palmer does not justify his price, particularly without João Pedro, but acknowledges that the immediate fixture makes a Gameweek 10 sale less appealing.

FPL Harry · MY FPL GW10 TRANSFER PLANS 📝 GABRIEL vs BOURNEMOUTH PLAYERS 🍒 Fantasy Premier League 2026/27 · Nov 1, 2026

I don't look at Palmer and think he's worth the money... Cole Palmer at 9.8 million just doesn't feel like he's worth that price. Now, Sunderland are really struggling at the moment. So, selling Palmer this week doesn't feel great.

Original source ↗ · Play from 6:08 · 5 seconds before evidence ↗

CaptaincyCaptainImmediate

The creator is captaining Erling Haaland and considers him the best captain choice for the current Gameweek.

He explicitly confirms Haaland as captain and says he is the best choice despite considering Cole Palmer a possible alternative.

আমি হালান্ডকে ক্যাপ্টেন করছি... তবুও আমি মনে করি হালান্ডই সেরা ক্যাপ্টেন চয়েস। আমি কোল পামারকে আর ক্যাপ্টেন করছি না।

CaptaincyAvoidImmediate

The creator would avoid captaining Cole Palmer in Gameweek 9 because Chelsea's recent performances and attacking output have reduced his confidence in Palmer's involvement.

Although Palmer has a home fixture against Manchester United, the creator doubts Chelsea's attack and is not confident Palmer will be involved when Chelsea score.

Gianni Butticè FPL · My Locked Team 🔒 Palmer Captain? 🤔 | FPL Gameweek 9 | Fantasy Premier League Tips 2026 · Oct 30, 2026

Value marketHoldImmediate

Palmer should be held for the Manchester United home fixture but is not a priority buy and can be sold afterwards, especially to fund Isak or Gabriel.

One creator views Palmer as overpriced and inferior value to Morgan Rogers, while the other agrees he should not be sold before the immediate fixture but accepts selling him when better targets are needed.

Fantasy Football Scout - FPL Tips · BEST JOAO PEDRO REPLACEMENTS❓| FPL GW9 Q&A WITH SAM + TOM | FPL Tips 26/27 · Oct 29, 2026

I think simply you don't sell him this week, but you could sell him next week... I would not sell him against Manchester United at home... as soon as the Manchester United game is done, I would get rid of him... Morgan Rogers offers much better value for money.

Original source ↗ · Play from 33:18 · 5 seconds before evidence ↗

CaptaincyAvoidImmediate

Palmer is a weaker Gameweek 9 captaincy option without João Pedro, so Chelsea attackers should generally be ranked below Haaland for the armband.

The creator says Palmer is far less attractive for captaincy with João Pedro absent and would not consider Chelsea players over Haaland, despite still retaining some preference for Palmer among Chelsea options.

FPL Dylan · FPL Gameweek 9: TEAM SELECTION | Fantasy Premier League Tips 2026/27 · Oct 29, 2026

Palmer is far less of a captaincy option in Gameweek nine with João Pedro missing... I just wouldn't really be considering them for the captaincy over Erling Haaland.

Original source ↗ · Play from 5:04 · 5 seconds before evidence ↗

Transfer decisionHoldShort

Cole Palmer and Morgan Gibbs-White are expensive underperformers, but selling either for a hit in Gameweek 9 is not considered worthwhile because the squad's injury problems are a higher priority.

The creator questions their value and output but prefers to address the flagged players and forward position rather than spend the only transfer or take a hit on midfield.

FPL Harry · MY FPL GW9 TEAM SELECTION! 📱 1 FT & 3 INJURED PLAYERS... 😭 | Fantasy Premier League 2026/27 · Oct 29, 2026

Do I think Gibbs White's worth the money? Not really. Do I think Palmer is worth the money? Absolutely not at the moment. But is it worth a minus4 to sell them this week? It doesn't feel great.

Transfer decisionWatchMedium

Bruno Fernandes is a watch-list option for a possible Palmer replacement around Gameweek 12 if his role and Manchester United's performances improve.

The creator is not committing to the move but highlights Fernandes's low ownership, improving price, upcoming fixtures and potential return to the number-10 role.

Let's Talk FPL · 1 transfer 🔒 Time for another? 🤔 My FPL Team for GW9 🔥 · Oct 29, 2026

I'm not that far off doing Palmer to Fernandes... the fixtures Man United have got soon are not that bad. And nobody wants to buy Bruno Fernandes right now, so he's a massive differential... if he starts getting played as a number 10 again regularly... that's interesting.

Original source ↗ · Play from 13:49 · 5 seconds before evidence ↗

Transfer decisionHoldShort

Cole Palmer should be held rather than transferred out for a one-game replacement such as Isak.

The creator prefers preserving flexibility and future transfers over spending two transfers before Isak faces Arsenal, despite acknowledging that Palmer's funds could be better spent.

Let's Talk FPL · 1 transfer 🔒 Time for another? 🤔 My FPL Team for GW9 🔥 · Oct 29, 2026

I'm almost always going to favor holding him until I'm absolutely sure about where I want to move... is it worth two transfers to move Palmer to Isak before Isak plays Arsenal? Probably not. So, Palmer's going to stay.

Original source ↗ · Play from 13:15 · 5 seconds before evidence ↗

CaptaincyCaptainShort

Haaland should remain the preferred captaincy strategy for the near future after the creator's failed Palmer differential captaincy.

The creator says he does not expect to go against Haaland again soon and calls captaining Haaland a good strategy moving forward.

Let's Talk FPL · 1 transfer 🔒 Time for another? 🤔 My FPL Team for GW9 🔥 · Oct 29, 2026
