Is Gibbs White a mustell now? No... he's probably okay still... I would not be forcing him out... he's going to end up being a pretty good pick longer term

If bench or minutes concerns force a hit, the creator's preferred aggressive move is Gibbs-White to Tavernier and Bobby Thomas to Antonio Silva.

This combination adds a Bournemouth midfielder for the favorable Ipswich fixture and upgrades the defense with Silva's perceived long-term value.

Gibbs White to Taer and Bobby Thomas up to Antonio Silva... It gives me double Bournemouth for Ipsswitch. Tair and Silva have really nice long-term options.

If I was to make just one transfer with only 0.2 million in the bank, Gibbs White to Taanir would probably be it... Tavanir is probably the safest longterm.

Gibbs White feels like the biggest issue... there are definitely better picks at a cheaper price.

FPL Dylan · FPL Gameweek 9: TEAM SELECTION | Fantasy Premier League Tips 2026/27 · Oct 29, 2026

I don't see Gibbs-White as a priority sell despite the recent blanks... it would also be a bit of FOMO if you just think, 'Oh, well, if I sell him, I'm then going to miss out.'

FPL Dylan · FPL Gameweek 9: TEAM SELECTION | Fantasy Premier League Tips 2026/27 · Oct 29, 2026

Bournemouth have excellent fixtures, so a move to Tavernier is certainly on the cards... I think he's the best Bournemouth asset by some distance... buying Tavernier is certainly on the agenda for Gameweek 10.

Cole Palmer and Morgan Gibbs-White are expensive underperformers, but selling either for a hit in Gameweek 9 is not considered worthwhile because the squad's injury problems are a higher priority.

Do I think Gibbs White's worth the money? Not really. Do I think Palmer is worth the money? Absolutely not at the moment. But is it worth a minus4 to sell them this week? It doesn't feel great.

His individual underlying and role remain useful, but his team has the league's weakest attack and poor finishing around him.

he's still playing 90 minutes when available... he's still the penalty taker. He is still creating a lot... but just unfortunately his teammates aren't particularly good finishers... Don't think he's a must sell, but you certainly could.
